Ideal Politician

When I began to think about it, it became a much more difficult question to answer. After all, there have not been many candidates in my lifetime who I would label as “good” politicians. So I started thinking about the qualities an ideal politician would possess in order for me to actually endorse them. A good politicians must have a characteristics of honesty, integrity, patriotism, intelligence, fiscal experience, reasonable, and charismatic.
My ideal politician that i really admire is Juan Miguel F. Zubiri. Why did I chose 'Migz'? Aside from being an intelligent man and a good citizen in our country , he has a good heart and he always thinking the goodness in our country. He conducted such activities that is more on welfare, agriculture, and industry that could sustain to our needs. He served the 3rd District of Bukidnon from 1998 to 2007 and was always cited as one of the most outstanding solons in the House of Representatives. He has also maintained a Perfect in Attendance in the Plenary Sessions for the last 12 years (4 Congresses) both as Congressman and as Senator, and including this 15th Congress. He published also two books, the Philippine Cooperative Code of 2008, and Bukidnon: The Philippine Frontier. In the 14th Congress and during his stint as Senate Majority Leader, Sen. Zubiri helped steer the Senate to a record performance of around 650 bills enacted into laws.
Sen. Migz is the principal author and sponsor of more than 20 major laws, both in the Senate and during his stint as Congressman. As a fervent advocate of clean energy, he worked for the passage of RA 9513 or the Renewable Energy Act of 2008 and RA 9367 or the Biofuels Act of 2006, earning him the moniker Mr. Clean Energy.
His achievements are only focuses on the people as his payment, and most of the time he really shows his good values unlike to the other officials. Even though I made a little bit article about on my ideal politician but this article is very meaningful for me, not on his popularity but on his achievements he successfully made.
